GENEALOGY HOUR

Saturdays 12:30-1:30PM

Andrew will be available to help you navigate online resources on sites like Ancestry.com, scour the family history materials available in our collection, or help you identify where else you might be able to track down your ancestor’s information.

Whether you are brand new to genealogical research or a seasoned genealogist, all are welcome to bring in their questions.

GENTLE YOGA FLOW WITH SARA HELMAN

First Friday of the month, 11:00AM-12:00PM

Begin a mindful month with free yoga the first Friday of every month at Freeport Community Library! We will focus on linking breath with movements that feel right for your body. Gift yourself this time to breathe, move, and relax so you can increase flexibility and mobility, feel connected, and decrease stress. Mats are provided; please bring a block, blanket, or towel for a support for poses. Sara Helman is a RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance.

CRAFT MAKER-ONI

1st and 3rd Monday of the month, 1:30-3:30PM

Bring a knitting, crochet, sewing, or crafting project to the library and gab with fellow crafty neighbors on the sun porch. Bring your own materials or peruse the library’s binder of free printed patterns. Pre-COVID Purls of Wisdom group donated knit wool materials to Preble Street.
