WHAT IS IT?
The American Girl doll Claudie has shoulder-length black hair with tight curls, brown eyes that open and close, a soft cloth body, and a movable head and limbs made of smooth vinyl. She represents American Girl character Claudie Wells, a girl growing up in Harlem, New York City, during the 1920s, surrounded by creativity, music, and art.
This kit also includes a copy of the book, Meet Claudie, by Brit Bennett. Claudie is in awe of the artists around her and dreams of discovering a special talent of her own, but struggles to find her calling. When an eviction notice threatens her beloved home, she takes a risk on an idea that might help her family and community.

- This item may be borrowed for three weeks and can’t be renewed.
